Get Salesforce.com Certified
September 11, 2008
Salesforce.com has announced a certification program along with a roadshow where you can get a refresher before you take an exam. Roadshow loacations include San Mateo CA, Atlanta, Chicago, Washington DC, and New York City. Its free if you’ve had the admin 201 or 301 or a very reasonable $99 if you haven’t. Looks like the normal price will be $200.

I recently launched the site forcecertified.com to serve as a resource for those interested in getting salesforce certified. I’m working on materials and getting together information on the exams. Very early stages.

Just taken and passed the first test. If you’re like me and have over 4 years of Admin experience don’t sweat it, just take it you’ll pass!

I only had 1 year of experience and unfortunately I had a hard time with the test since I dont venture into certain areas of SFDC. I focused my reading on a high level of every aspect of SFDC but not the details. I plan on taking it again and studying it much better in detail. Although if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
