NA2 is also January 12, according to the email I got. Would be helpful information if our instance was actually on NA2. I’ve always assumed we were on NA1 since all our URLs are na1.salesforce.com. Maybe not.

Please be aware that salesforce.com has scheduled maintenance for your instance (NA1):

    Friday, January 5th, 2006 from 6:00pm PST – Saturday, January 6th, 2:00am PST

During this time, the salesforce.com service will be unavailable. Users attempting to access the service during this time will receive a scheduled maintenance notification page.

The purpose of this maintenance window is to upgrade your instance (NA1) to the Winter ’07 release.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this maintenance window.

There will be a correction going out shortly on these correcting the year from 2006 to 2007.

As for Judi getting the wrong email, it seems that our email system de-duplicated our email list for us so if you happen to be an admin for multiple orgs on different servers you would only receive one notifcation. This has also been corrected so everyone will receive all notifications for all instances that they are an administrator for.

    Sorry for the confusion!

  • […] As was reported before me (salesforcewatch, salesforce collective), the Winter release looks to be planned for Friday, January 12. I assume they will take that weekend to get it up, running and ready for Monday, the 15th. […]
